The display will be 6.1 inches for iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro, and 6.7 inches for iPhone Max and iPhone 14 Max Pro. Rumors are also out that the mini-series of the iPhone will be ditched due to the lack of popularity amongst customers. According to the latest rumors, the new designs of Pro versions of the iPhone will not have the notch used for facial ID until now. According to some mixed rumors, these phones will have a circular punch cutout for the camera and a pill-shaped punch cutout for face ID detection. The non-Pro models of the series will continue to have top-notch.
The phone might also come with a ‘Vapor Chamber thermal System’ to minimize the heat impact of faster chips and 5G connectivity.
Although there will be no updates in the battery capacity of the iPhone 14 series, the new 5G chip may use significantly less power. Apple is also about to come up with a ‘Periscope’ zoom lens, but it is not clear whether it will be included in the 2022 phones or the 2023 phones.
The Pro models of the iPhone 14 series will have a 48-megapixel rear camera and an 8K video recording potential, believes Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. The 48-megapixel camera will be able to take the 12-megapixel shots through a process called pixel-binning, which leads to better photos in dim light.The front camera of the series may also have an upgraded lens with f/1.9 aperture and autofocus capabilities.
According to Morgan Chase, iPhone 14 Pro will be made from titanium alloy which was only used for apple watches until now. The vanilla model of the series will have the same stainless steel or aluminum chassis for the body. Only the Pro models of the iPhone 14 series will have an upgraded processor. While the standard iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will have the A15 Bionic which was used in iPhone13, the Pro models of the series will have an updated and faster A16 chip. This will give a significant difference in the performance of basic and pro models of the series. Apple is also working on the Car Crash Detection, which will detect a car crash with the help of accelerometer and gravitational force and automatically dial the emergency number. This feature was about to launch in 2022, and there are high chances that we can expect it in the iPhone 14 series and Apple Watch 8. Once successful. the feature will not be limited to the new launches only.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon X65 will be able to send emergency messages through satellite in case of low or zero network connectivity.
iPhone 14 may not have a sim slot.
An eSim design could be seen in the latest models of the iPhone. Apple is advising the US carriers to be prepared for eSim by 2022 for a while, which can lead to a no-physical sim in iPhone 14. These phones will only be available in some countries with an option to choose from a traditional physical sim slot or an eSim.iPhone 14 price in India will range from ₹95,000 to ₹1,20,000.
